What kind of music does Anders play?

Anders mostly plays popular songs from 60s to today. He is well versed at adapting to tastes of the crowd and can entertain all ages. There are currently over 800 songs in his repertoire. Visit his interactive songlist to see what he can do. You can filter songs by genre, release date, pace, and more.

How does Anders build his setlist?

Generally Anders allows people to provide as many or as few musical preferences as they would like. If you would like to go through his songlist and choose songs and artists that you like, you are free to choose as many as you’d like and he will build his setlist accordingly. If you trust his judgment and would like him to choose all the music, that is completely fine as well.

Does Anders provide his own sound equipment?

Yes, Anders always provides his own sound equipment at no extra charge. Anders uses top quality audio gear. His setup is compact, taking up very little space, yet the sound can easily fill a large room. For larger crowds and/or DJ’ing, Anders uses a larger setup.

Will Anders learn new songs?

Yes. Time permitting, Anders can learn up to 3 new songs for you at no extra cost. This is not a guarantee as some requests are simply not feasible. However, Anders will do his best to make your musical vision for your event a reality. 

How many breaks does Anders need?

For events up to 90 minutes in length, no breaks are needed. For a 2 hour performance, one 10-minute break is needed. For every additional hour, an additional 10-minute break is needed. Typically live performances do not exceed 4 hours unless combined with DJ services. Anders will gladly serve as DJ during his breaks to keep the ambiance going.

Does Anders play instrumental guitar music? (i.e. guitar only, no voice)

Yes, Anders is an accomplished finger-style guitar player. While he primarily considers himself a singing guitarist, he often plays instrumentally during wedding ceremonies and while guests are being seated. Please keep in mind that Anders is not a classically trained guitarist and some instrumental requests may not be possible. But it never hurts to ask!

What does Anders need from me in terms of set up?

Not much! Unless you have specific and/or unusual requests, a grounded outlet and perhaps a bottle of water is all that he requires.
